Our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme is designed to 'give back' to communities in areas in which we operate.
Shree Future Foundation - working in conjunction with Soroptimist International Durban Club and other charity partners - executes a range of CSI initiatives which resonate with our company values. We work closely with women's organisation - Soroptimist International Durban Club - on a number of projects, including, most notably, a major undertaking known as the Thembisa Embo Community Project located in the Valley of 1 000 Hills outside Durban, supporting children orphaned by the ravages of AIDS.
IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR SUPPORT OF NUMEROUS IDENTIFIED CHARITABLE BODIES AND NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS
we also operate a tertiary education bursary programme, annually providing full financial backing, text books, a laptop computer and transport costs for a deserving student. It is envisaged that this scheme will be expanded to assist up to 10 students a year. Upon graduation, Shree Property Holdings employs the bursary recipient for a two-year period, providing vital 'real world of work' experience, thus equipping the candidate with the tools to pursue his/her own career.
